Before I built sunrooms, I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company, and a lot of that work was patching patio rooms and enclosures somebody else had put up. You learn fast what holds up and what leaks, and why. Most of the time it came down to what was under the room and where it met the house. In 2017 I started building these rooms myself, here in Yucca Valley.
Houses in a high desert town like ours come with their share of awkward spots, like an old slab, a tired deck or a wall the room has to meet somewhere strange. How our crew works on your job
We start under the room
I check the slab or deck and the wall your room will tie into before anything else, because that's where most of the leaks I used to fix began. If the base needs work, you'll hear about it at the estimate, not halfway through the build.
You deal with the owner
I come out myself to measure, check the base and the house wall, and write up your estimate. Our own crew does the build, and I check in at the key steps as the room goes up.
A room that fits how you'll use it
We talk through a screen room, a seasonal room or a heated and cooled room by how you really plan to use the space, so you don't pay for more room than you need. Sometimes the simpler one is the right call, and I'll tell you so.
